The sun made its first proper appearance of the month just in time for the opening of this year’s Kilkenny Arts Festival, which took place at Butler House on Friday.
Those in attendance were treated to the musical stylings of brass trio Sax Allemande and a glass or two of prosecco. Now in its 41st year, the festival runs for 10 days in a variety of different venues around the city, with something (hopefully) for everyone.
