Euromedic Ireland has announced that it is opening a new clinic in Kilkenny city.
The clinic will serve the people of Kilkenny, Carlow, Tipperary, Wexford, Waterford, and the region generally. At the new clinic Euromedic Ireland will provide a broad range of diagnostic services including MRI scans, X-rays, DXA scans to determine bone density, ultrasounds and OPG scans, and advanced dental X-ray.
The Kilkenny clinic is on Dean Street and five people will be employed there. The opening of the new clinic is a major expansion for Euromedic Ireland which already has four successful diagnostic centres in Northwood (Santry), Charlemont, and Dundrum in Dublin, as well as the Elysian building in Cork.
Patients receive the results of their X-rays or scans within 24 hours. The company also provides MRI services in Sligo General Hospital and the Ulster Independent Clinic in Belfast.
Euromedic’s service is focused on servicing the needs of GPs, consultants, and their patients. In the catchment areas in which it operates Euromedic provides its diagnostic services to 90 per cent of GPs. It is planned that Euromedic Kilkenny will provide a first class diagnostic service to the newly opened Airfield Medical Centre as well as GPs in the general southeast region.
