2013 is Savour Kilkenny’s 7th year, and promises to be another exceptional festival, attracting food lovers, food consumers, food tourists and food experts to spend the October Bank Holiday weekend in Ireland’s Medieval Capital.
With the year of ‘The Gathering’ drawing to a close, this community festival has developed a reputation for hosting many food gatherings throughout the weekend, where communities of people come together to create, talk about, compare and consume delicious food.
Savour Kilkenny is a festival with a true community heart run by a voluntary committee of Kilkenny people who are passionate about food. Growing it, making it, cooking it, sharing it and eating it. The committee strive to enhance its programme annually and 2013 will have much new, interesting content.
